WALLER RD

Conversion and extension of a terraced house.
The client's concept called for minimalist, white interiors. The two existing ground floor rooms are enlarged to the basement floor and converted into a new, double-storey living room. The existing three-storey rear wing of the building was demolished on the ground floor and supported by a new steel structure. This is where the new dining and kitchen area is created, which extends across the entire width of the plot. The steel structure is concealed by a series of false beams covering the entire room. A glass roof above the beams brings zenithal light into the parts of this room away from the garden.
